Creating experiences that inspire, even for our youngest guests

On April 24, our US Inizio Engage XD office in Philadelphia welcomed a different kind of audience: a new generation of curious minds—ready to explore what their parents do and how we bring ideas to life

For Bring Your Child to Work Day, we designed a day of creativity, collaboration, and fresh thinking—giving our children a first-hand look at how we create experiences that connect people, spark ideas, and drive change.

It was brilliant to open up the XD world to our families and give our kids a glimpse into what we do. There was so much curiosity, energy and imagination—it really captured the spirit of how we work every day.

– Russ Lidstone, President of Inizio Engage XD

Lights, Camera, Curiosity

The day began with breakfast (special thanks to Federal Donuts) and a pop-up photo area to kick things off. Kids stepped into the spotlight for 1:1 filmed interviews, sharing their thoughts on what their parents do and what they want to be when they grow up. Their answers were as insightful as they were imaginative.

Next, Katie Coleman (Head of Meetings & Events, US) led icebreakers before handing over to Russ Lidstone for a warm welcome and an engaging introduction to our storytelling studio.

And in true XD fashion, there was room for a few surprises. One bold question—“How much money do you make a year?”—sent the room into laughter, and Russ handled it like a pro. Just another reminder that nothing tests your leadership quite like a curious ten-year-old.

Experience in Action

The hands-on part of the day kicked off with a live demo of our Multichannel Room (MCR), giving the kids a behind-the-scenes look at the tools and tech we use to bring ideas to life.

Then, working in small teams, they collaborated with members of our XD crew to develop and deliver their own mini sales pitches—complete with slides, storytelling, and plenty of presentation flair.

After a morning of demos, ideas, and energy, the group gathered for lunch—a well-earned spread of pizza and conversation. It wasn’t just a moment to recharge, but a chance to reflect. Kids chatted about what they’d learned, while parents connected over shared stories and new perspectives.

The room was full of laughter, insight, and the kind of energy that can only come from exploring something new together. It was classic XD: part bold ideas, part shared moments, and fully grounded in the creative, tech-enabled culture that powers everything we do.

More than just a day at the office

Bring Your Child to Work Day wasn’t just a fun break from the norm.

It was a live demonstration of what makes Inizio Engage XD different: a culture where creativity is encouraged, ideas are celebrated, and curiosity drives change.

Thank you to everyone who made the day happen—and to our young guests, who reminded us that great cultures are built not just by what we do—but by who we bring along for the journey.
