On 5 November, VILDA, in collaboration with Inizio Engage, invites women from across the life sciences community to an inspiring and interactive evening exploring leadership, growth and potential.
Rather than focusing on titles and traditional career stories, we’ll explore what happens between the lines: the experiences, choices, challenges and people that shape us along the way.
Throughout the evening, we’ll hear three different perspectives on leadership before moving from listening to sharing through interactive roundtable conversations, reflection and networking.
Meet our speakers
Jennie Brobeck
CEO and Co-Founder, River Jump
Jennie will explore how energy, focus, self-awareness and our behaviours can help us make more conscious choices and unlock our potential.
Conceição Simão
General Manager Iberia, Inizio Engage
Conceição will share reflections from her own leadership journey, including having the courage to take the next step and growing as responsibilities evolve.
Karin Järperud
Country Senior Director, Amgen Sweden
Karin will explore finding your own way as a leader, staying true to who you are and keeping sight of what really matters.
Together, their different experiences connect around a common theme: self-awareness, courage and finding a way of leading that feels authentic and sustainable.
Guiding the conversation
Hanna Brodda
Editor in Chief, Add Health Media
Hanna will moderate the evening, bringing together the different perspectives, drawing out the personal stories behind leadership and opening up the conversation with everyone in the room.
Her role is quite important to the format, so I think she deserves this separate section rather than a one-line mention beneath the speakers.
From listening to sharing
A key part of the evening will be the conversation in the room.
After hearing from Jennie, Conceição and Karin, we’ll move into small roundtable discussions, creating space to reflect on our own experiences, exchange perspectives and learn from one another.
