Each May, we come together to honor one of the most vital forces in health care: our nurses. This year, the theme “The Power of Nurses to Transform Health” resonates deeply across borders and boundaries. It’s more than a celebration—it’s a call to action, a recognition of truth, and a global moment to raise our voices for those who care, lead, inspire — and repeat. 

At Inizio Engage, we are privileged to work alongside thousands of extraordinary nurses across the globe. They serve not only as caregivers, but as educators, advocates, and change-makers. Their work doesn’t end with the shift—it echoes through families, communities, and entire health systems. 

Throughout this week, we will be sharing stories and voices from nurses across our global teams who reflect on: 

• What inspired them to pursue a career in nursing 
• What continues to fuel their passion 
• How they believe their work is making a difference 

These reflections are powerful reminders that nursing is more than a profession — it’s a calling. 

Protecting and Elevating Our Nurses 

As we celebrate, we must also commit to protecting the physical, emotional, and professional wellbeing of every nurse. That means investing in mental health support, ensuring safe working environments, expanding leadership opportunities, providing mentorship and building pathways for continued growth. 

Because when we care for our nurses, they can continue to care for the world.
